German-American Women's Club of Berlin

Our goals:

  • Fostering good relationships between Germany, the United States, and other countries
  • Supporting the German-American student exchange and youth programs
  • Community service and charity volunteer work:
      • For children and handicapped people, particularly for the "Mosaik" club, which we founded and which supports nearly 2,000 hamdicapped people; for the club, we organize events, facilitate vacations for wheelchair users, and support the clubs' other activities. 
      • Organization of charity events and bazaars to raise funds for our projects

Other activities:

Interest group meetings: Art Appreciation, Bridge, Brunch, Dining Out, English Conversation, English Speaking Corner, Literature, Lunch, Painting, and Charity.

Student Exchange:

As a member of the Federation of German-American Clubs, our club has participated in the Federation's German-American college student exchange program since 1977, sponsoring applicants from all the universities in Berlin.
